Whether you want to find a suitable brain training for yourself or your child, you must know what to look for in genuine brain training.
First of all, look at the width and the depth of the training.
Make sure that it's holistic. How to know if it's holistic or not? If it's holistic, it does not put emphasis on a particular part of the brain.
Make sure the level of difficulty encompasses from Slow Learner level right up to High Performer or Professional level. This is to make sure that it covers the current and subsequent levels for yourself or your child, and most importantly, to prevent your child from Retrogressional training.
No Compromise on Side Effects and Opposite Effects such as:
✗Attention diverted to games
✗Addiction to stimulation
✗Addiction to digital device
✗Excessive radiation
Avoid excessive use of electronic devices.
Training in Real Physical World and not limited to virtual world. This is to ensure practicality and to make sure eye training is in full wide view instead of limited to screen wide view.
Human control rather than computer control. Train your child to be more attentive to human rather than just being attentive to the computer.
Include both gross motor skills and fine motor skills up to high level of technicalities.
If it's truly holistic and effective up to high level, then it must be beneficial and relevant to real skills in Multiple Talents, not just beneficial to the entry level of multiple intelligence.
Do ask questions about how it can benefit to real skills.
Lastly, make sure it's scientific and free from any kind of brain myth or pseudo science.
Wish you all the best in learning and training.
